This unit cools and heats the boat adequately for the past 3 years. I plan
to spend more time down in the SW Fla. area and was planning to add an
additional 16000 Btu unit, same make, but with a digital control. Because I
plan to anchor more in the future, and my genet is only rated for 4.5 kW, I
would only be able to run only one A/C unit at a time, would it be "wrong"
to
Tee off the existing water pump. I would like the 2nd unit to cool the area
that I choose, stateroom or salon. Now, If I were at a marina and
were to turn the two units on at the same time, would they "Starve" for
water? I am attempting to avoid having to haul and installed another thru
hull, strainer and pump.
