From Louise-Ann and I, to the delightful folks we met at the Vallejo
Trawlerfest, "Thanks for sharing your time with us".
To those we did not have a chance to meet, hopefully we will have the
opportunity when we go to the next one in about two years time.
Vallejo was a very small 'fest (our third). We suspect that some local
people went there and simply turned tail due to the obvious low turnout and
that others did not go because it was small. Big mistake! Those of us who
took in the entire event had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to sit down
with the presenters and really get into some of the topics. Also, the
displays area was not a mob scene and therefore we were able to spend hours
with the vendors getting our questions answered. Finally, the lack of
turnout gave us a real opportunity to visit with nearly every boat owner and
broker that had a boat open to visit. We do wish there had been more boats
to see though.
