2001.
Much of the "millennium" furor is driven by economics (parties, hotel
reservations, resorts, cruises, etc.). It will be interesting to see
how many of the promoters, having made their money on the 1999-2000
change, will suddenly discover their error (maybe about March or
April) and schedule another celebration for the 2000-2001 change.
