9999 was a supposed Y2K computer error that never developed. It was
supposed to have hit old Cobol programs in September, but it never was a
problem - it was really only press hype. It has nothing to do with the GPS
rollover problem of August, and I know of no 9999 problems of any kind with
GPS.
