Sure. The grounding off Cape Cod where the GPS had dropped off-line
(antenna problem, I think) and the data displayed at the helm was
based on automated DR. Nobody bothered to confirm the GPS data with
radar fixes or other means. As always, the prudent mariner never
relies on a single source of positional data.
