My first attempt at Leg 56 I notice the typo's and decided to wait until Dan
corrected the typo's. He usually catches those error very quickly and he
did.
Now I start to work the problem. Answers 1 and 2 correspond with the
answers given by Dan/
My question to the list is concerning question # 3. I assumed we started
on 11:50:00 UTC @ 20/03/1999 and traveled to 18:48:23 UTC 23/03/1999 that
is 3 days and 6 hrs 58 min 23 sec., or 78 hrs 58 min 23 sec. That means
our DR should reflect 78 hrs 58 min 23 sec traveling at 10.3 kts on a course
of 124.6 true. We were buffeted for two days (I don't know what that
means), but in any case I have trouble coming up with the correct DR for
problem # 3. Any Help!
