Back when I was doing my bluewater sailing I used DR for what ever my
position guess was. Pre-1995 Bowditch has a different glossary than the
1995 edition, which negates Speed Made Good. I have several "old" DOS
nav programs that use varients. Several different countries use
different definitions. Anyhow, back sometime after we left Djoubiti in
Silicon Sea it was decided to use glossary that would fit Silicon Sea.
Most of my terminology comes from Navig94, that's what I use for most
of the calculations.
