[Nml] Cap'n tips

Subject: [Nml] Cap'n tips
From: Rick Emerson (rick@XXX.XXX)
Date: Sat Feb 13 1999 - 09:06:39 EST

I'd like to hear from Cap'n users about any tricks, tip, or bugs
they've run into. To forestall a potentially useless thread, I
already own the product and like it although there are some oddities
and a couple typos that ask for a bit of sanding and paint to put
right.

Also, how do people keep their laptops anchored on their nav desks in
a seaway?

Oh, for the record, having The Cap'n hardly means I'm putting my
sextant away.

P.S. For those with sextants or a *reliable* sun filter for a
telescope or binoculars, in the past few days I've been watching one
large, possibly naked eye sunspot and a dusting of "freckles" in
higher latitudes. Check it out, d00dz! [wink]
