Maybe this topic can deflect our attention from web lists back to navigation.
Before I purchased my sail boat and got interested in celestial navigation, I was interested in astronomy.
I currently have a 14' Meade SCT. I have my scope set up in a permanent observatory that has a roll
off roof. I wonder how many of the list participant are also into astronomy? In addition was it astronomy that got you interested
in Cel Nav or was it Cel nav that got you interested in astronomy?
It is not the intent of these questions to detract from the core purpose of this
group, however there is a strong link.
