Typed the words and drew the sketches in Word. Then copy/pasted the whole
thing in one step to the email composition page. Quick and simple. I was a
little worried about how large the file size might be but it turns out to be
only 24kb, which seems modest for these generously sized graphics. Perhaps
we all could have been doing as much all along - even moderately long text
only messages can be as big and bigger than this. Its certainly true that
often a simple diagram or two can go a long way towards making more clear
some aspect of this mutual interest of ours. Imagine how many (potentially
confusing) words would have been needed to convey that same idea.
Incidentally; I suspect you could, in reverse, copy/paste my effort back
into Word, make modifications, then broadcast those modified (or new)
sketches as part of your response.
