    George H writes ominously:
"Such problems illustrate precisely the complications I foresaw in an
earlier thread "Two lists with a common topic"."

Yes, I also saw a cat chatting amiably with a dog. And the barley in my soup
last night aligned pefectly in the shape of a crescent moon. And now
cross-postings to lists!! These are all signs of the end times. Repent, sinners!

Actually, George, I can't fathom how Alex managed to confuse the two lists.
He's a smart guy, and each and every NavList message is marked with a tag (as
you've seen) that indicates it's from NavList and gives its message number.

So, George, why don't you just sign up to NavList? What are you afraid of?
You are one of a handful of hold-outs. If we can get the last few over, I can
change the name to Nav-L, make Dan H owner (if he wants the work), and that
    will be that.
