    I contribute little to this list, but I do read it regularly, and it was
    quite clear to me that Frank was simply testing the possibility of
    moving this list to a more reliable server -- not trying to create a
    second, separate list or community.

    As a community, it would make sense for everybody to try to agree upon
    where they'd like the list to reside (google vs. webkahuna) and go
    there. In the absence of the membership agreeing to move to google or
    some other host, the decision to continue the list on its current server
    is truly in Dan's hands.

    I'm neutral on the subject. I belong to lists on numerous servers and,
    as long as they are moderated to prevent spammers from joining, I find
    little difference among the hosts.
