    Alex

I have a half dozen dial indicators and several mounting devices, as well as
other precision measuring tools including a 12" dial caliper (0.001"). The
dial indicators range from cheap Chinese 0.001" models, to good quality
0.001", to a good old USA Federal 0.0001" unit.

Recalling Joel's advice I am not quite sure of the set up he suggests, or
how to pinpoint the exact location of arm's rotation point.

Happy to help you if I understand the setup.

    Bill
