Is Navigation-L on its way out? Should we all simply migrate over to Frank's
site and start posting there? Notwithstanding that I have signed on to
Frank's rogue site :-^), my sense of loyalty precludes my abandoning Dan's
site altogether. It has served us well all of these years.
Change is the essence of life. I, too, signed up in Frank's Google list and
hope to participate in some discussions. But there are
problems/issues/questions that need to be resolved before I really take the
plunge on the Google list.
Such as having my firewalls set so high that I don't receive Google's
conformation emails so I am able to read but not respond yet.
I was an active member in Yahoo's sextant list for a time but didn't like
sifting though the advertisements every other post so I dropped it like a
bad habit.
I would like to thank Frank for taking the time and making the effort to
assure everyone there is/will be a place to run to.
And despite the doom and gloom, it appears to me that the crew is still
actively participating in discussions on Navigation-L.
Why not keep participating on this list, that has served us well, until this
ship finally slips into the deep. If it ever does. I like this list's format
better too.
How about we get out of limbo and make a decsion, en masse? Or is that
really possible with such a diverse group?
Easier said than done. Easier for most after the fact.
Personnally, I think Dan will have to shut down Navigation-L before I
abandon ship. Loyalty is stubborn trait in me.
I'll be here as long as the ship is afloat.
