My understanding is that no defection is called for. Rather, there is an
opportunity to ALSO join, if tempted, an alternative. As Frank has noted, it
may take off, or not.
George also gives us the benefit of his unfavourable character assessment of
Frank, and as always we are grateful for his wisdom and insight.

No one is talking about a lifeboat, George. You feet are hardly likely to
get wet. Its a discussion group at issue here, or rather two of them.
Altogether too much colourful hyperbole, George, I fear .. such modest
change as this proposes is nothing to get so excited about.
