A week or so ago, I sent an article on the use of a sextant to a UK sailing
magazine which concentrates on practical boating matters. To my
astonishment, I received a reply saying that although they liked it, they
could not publish anything 'which may involve looking at the sun owing to
Health and Safety legislations'. Believe me, this is not a leg pull! Let us
pray that the fat controllers never switch off the satellites. Tony C
