Stan's description of the event was so lucid, I felt that I could have been
there myself (wish I had...). I agree with Dan. It seems quite remarkable
that someone so good with words has managed to resist the temptation to
post, for all those years. Truly a remarkable exercise in self-restraint!
Perhaps, now that he has made his first score ("broken his duck", as they
say in cricketing circles) then we will read more from his keyboard. I hope
so.
