Close, but the guy with the sextant and rippling muscles has no pocket
protector or horn-rimmed glasses. Rather he has a sou'wester cap
and an upside-down corncob pipe (for alternatives, see the waterfront
fern bar scene in the Perfect Storm movie). The guy floating off with
the non-functioning GPS is the one with the glasses and pocket protector.
DiD (Damsel in Distress) was enamored with nerd earlier in the voyage
when his cool expertise about things electronic and modern ever so
impressed her. Then the storm clouds gathered, the GPS wilted, and she
found her true love ...
Unfortunately for her, he's down below trying to reduce his damn sights
instead of paying attention to her stroking of his hairy chest...
