The SNO-T manual only says: never turn this screw yourself:-)
(I recall that Freiberger and SNO have a "drum" ("trommel")
assembly which is different from most other sextants.
So now I know that this misterious screw is for the backlash
adjustment).
It is not clear to me what exactly is inside the "trommel",
and how it works. The manual prohibits to disassemble it
on the ships, but a special wrench for doing this is included.
