Was someone on this list looking for information from an old book?
I find I have Practical Air Navigation by Thoburn C. Lyon. It is Civil Aeronautics Bulletin 24, 1945, second edition, U.S.
Department of Commerce, Civil Aeronautics Administration and U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey. There are 45 pages covering
celestial navigation.
