    George et al

Frank must be a repository of a great amount of energy. First he manages to
cause list members to be passionate. That cause them to take swipes not
only his factual data but at him personally. Then he somehow manages to get
himself all heated up (apparently with no assistance of valid reason ;-)

I for one am thankful all the information you, Frank, Alex and others have
provided over the past year, and am much better informed for it. I started
off a year ago just wanting to learn how to plug and chug with a cardboard
sextant and HO229--determine if I could do it and liked it. The entire list
has either made me passionate about cel nav, or fanned the flames of a
passion that was already developing in me.

Now I own an Astra, can whip of Hc and Zn on a pocket calculator in 2
minutes or less, and have a much better understanding of the mechanics. And
that appears to be just the beginning. Now playing with lunars. No
complaints, no matter where the blame falls. <G>
