I don't see any difference
except
1. The scopes,
2. Microscope/illumination device
3. Paint color.
4. Number of filters/shades (some have less than
the usual 3+4).
(SNO-T is a completely different sextant modeled
on Freiberger, rather than C. Plath).
Some time ago I had a correspondence with Jared,
probably off-the-list, on what can "Tropic resistance"
possibly mean. We came to the conclusion that this
can be only related to the composition of the
glowing paint in the illuminating microscope:-)
But there could be more about "tropic resistance".
