You are not limited to twilight if you don't take altitudes.
In a dark starry night many more stars are available than the
usual lunar stars.

This is indeed a problem. I had to use my intermediate filter
to reduce the moon's glare today.
Still for a half of a month, osculations by the dark edge of the
moon will be available.
I mean when the moon is growing.

Not in the online version I use.
When I'll make my own lunars spreadsheet I will
definitely try it.
The Frank Reed calculator which I use does not allow many
stars. Besides it is down mow:-)
Just at the time when I came with my new series of the lunars.
