Yes,
I missed this point.
At the time of Columbus, "Star Almanach"
(Regiomontan Tables)
was mainly published for astrologers.
It would be interesting to know how many
of them go to astrologers now:-)
I conjecture that there are much more
astrologers in the world now
than CelNav igators:-(
So maybe sextant sales are a better indicator
after all. (Though, according to Celestaire,
some corporations buy sextants for decoration
purposes).
