I hope this is relevant to your question:

Average sight time = the arithmetical average time of the round of sights.
Average altitude = the arithmetical average altitude of the round of sights.

The DR position would be that point on the DR plot where the vessel is
thought to be at the average sight time, based on the vessel's course and
    speed.

An AP can be any convenient nearby position that fits the decimal precision
of the sight reduction method used.

The LHA would be the one determined for the average sight time.

The EP would be that point on the LOP of the average sight time and average
altitude where a perpendicular from the LOP intersects the DR position.
