Those are Lunars... There are as many procedures for this process as there
are fans.
You have to ask yourself some questions. Are you looking for historical
authenticity? If so, what era? How accurate do you hope to be (is you sextant
accurate to 0.1 minutes of arc or 0.5)? How much can you tolerate electronic
calculations (paper and pencil only?? or can you use a handheld calculator??) ? The
answers to these questions will determine where you go next.
