    The URL mentioned by Chuck says this for those of us that missed today's
    event:

    "Only one other transit will occur this century, on June 6, 2012. That event
    will be visible at least in part for most of the world, except for Western
    Africa and most of South America. Afterward there will be a 105-year wait
    until the next one, on December 11, 2117."

    So, in 8 years we'll get another chance. Maybe those of us in the great
    Northwest will get to see that one!
