My recent message under this threadname about Halley started-
"I've been in touch with a correspondent in Scotland who has been doing
some serious work on Edmond Halley (1656-1742), and look forward to its
eventual publication."
That correspondent was Ted Gerrard, who lives on the beautiful Isle of Skye.
I'm pleased to note that he has just joined the Nav-L list and hope to read
contributions from him in the future. Welcome aboard, Ted!
