     The map shows their approximate distances from Earth. This would be good enough to find the rough position of the Earth for some millions of years into the future.

    But maybe there is a problem with that method. If you travel fast enough, you get maybe hundreds or even thousands of light years away, which is like going forward in time in the direction of travel...will the pulser map still be accurate, and will the pulsers now in your light-past still be visible?-Ken
