I read over George's "request for help" again this morning, and nothing
helpful has come to mind.
George suggested someone might, as a check, start from scratch and work the
observations a different way. That's what I did last night, with the "A" lunar.
Got about the same result as George. Now, since I can't think of anything
that might quickly solve the mystery, I'll leave this puzzle for those who have
computer programs to speed their investigations.
