    I read somewhere, maybe in a book about underwater treasure
    hunting that there is "evidence" that the ancient Egyptians
    and maybe the Romans visited either North or South America
    way before Columbus. (This is NOT to take away from Columbus'
    achievements).

    I know most of this "ancient" maps that look more or less
    like modern charts stuff, might fall under Art Bell and
    "Coast to Coast", but who knows.
