    Hey Kieran, your calculation for local noon seems spot on - my calculations
    make it at GMT 03h 15m 37s. Since 360d and 0d are the same, the expression
    of one then the other may just be a glitz of that program.

    But I share your puzzlement about the lack of change in the azimuth, despite
    Herbert Prinz's short note. As best I understand it, he is saying that the
    rate of change is smaller than the units we are using - ie, one tenth of a
    minute of arc? Any chance of more detail about this?
