Here are my answers for 3) and 4) followed by questions for the
    experts.

    3) C = 78.8 dT D = 1652.6 Nm via Mercator Sailings
    4) CTS = 90.7 dM via Mercator Sailings and using original S/D
CTS = 86.9 dM via Mercator Sailings and using the new S/D

    Questions:
    4) In a previous millenium I was taught to compute new S/D only after
a FIX or RFIX. Is this stil correct? How would a new S/D be
determined without a FIX or RFIX? The assumption on my part is that
S/D is the aggregate of wind, seaway, current, and boat leeway
    effects.
    5) I have little incentive to purchase 2002 Nautical Almanac as I
will be landlocked for at least a few years. Omar Reis at
    http://tecepe.com.br/scripts/AlmanacPagesISAPI.isa can give me a
facsimile, provided I compute the corrections. Is his data accurate?
