I think you'll find the procedure is relatively straightforward
and familiar. But try it using a range of values for the moon's
altitude, based on various estimates you might make for dip
(perhaps using the temperature/pressure tables), and see how much
your longitude moves as a result. Also consider how many
different table entries you add together, that are all tabulated
to 0.1 minutes -- each contributes a rounding error of up to
0.05 minutes, and they might all be in the same direction.
Try reducing your sight a few times with that error added back
in, once all positive and again all negative.
