If anybody else was wondering, and with help from an online Latin/English
translater, mainly for 'gustibus' which it turns out means something like
'taste', this seems to mean something like the French phrases
'les gouts et les couleurs ne se discutent pas' or even more simply
'a chacun son gout' and in English, rather literally
'Taste (in mathematical formulae presumably) is not to be disputed'
Ah well, it makes a change from nav stuff ...
