05-11 lunar

I'll be doing this during my anchor watch. That is 2000 hrs. to 0200 hrs.
both days.From anywhere inside a 1 mile radius of the Ap(34* 04' N 120*
22.5' W) the island will block the horizon from about 260*T to 355*T.That
limits me to the time of 2300 hrs zt.Saturn's Zn moves past 260* before my
watch.Jupiter's Zn will move past 260* before 2200 hrs zt and that may be
cutting it short.I picked a 4 hr window to do this in case conditions aren't
right for observations when I wish to start the attempt and can try another
attempt later in the window timeframe.Spica looks promiceing both from a
time and Zn standpoint. It apears to follow the ecliptic. Is it one of the LD
stars?IT may give me a larger time window to work with.It will add another 3
hrs because the Moon's Zn won't exceed 260* untill about 0200 05-12.The
angular distance between the 2 are from 12* at 2000 05-11 to 26* at 0200
05-12.I haven't computed 05-10 yet for the planets and Spica but will
shortly.
