 An interesting and terribly appropriate comment here, George.

I can't help but wonder if the newfangled, expensive, tempermental chronometers touched off a debate as to the pluses and minuses of traditional/vs/new nagivation tools back then, similar to sextant/vs/electronics today.<G>
