Subject: Lindy Line

I recently came across a portion of a weather plotting chart covering the
Caribbean. There are several track lines printed on the chart. The labels
say: Rhumb Line, Great Circle, Composite Line, and Lindy Line.
I would love to know what Composite and Lindy Lines are!
