Here's an interesting site I ran across while researching a bubble
sextant. Several pages are about navigation devices, including the
astrocompass and bubble sextant. There's even a page devoted to the
MD-1 automatic astrocompass on the B-52, which I mentioned some time
back. Has technical details and pictures.
