ouch indeed. although, perhaps not too outrageous when compared to the
$5000 theodolites in the distributor's catalog.
although, their artificial horizon was interesting. just now I made one
like it using a couple carpenters' levels and my wife's hand mirror. shot
the moon with it in my front yard, seems to work almost OK (intercepts were
not as good as with my bubble horizon, and definitely needs a better
mirror). I wonder why theirs is $450, maybe I am in the wrong business?
