Yes, I did make a mistake. Forgot that I plotted the last leg at
double the scale of the other two. The corrected total distance is
3239 miles, just 13 miles different from the right answer. If you ask
me, 0.4% error is good considering that I plotted the trip on pieces
of typing paper.
With the corrected distance, my E-6B gives 13.4 days for time enroute.
