Bowditch Glossary refers to North as 000 (under course).

Is there a standard or preferred way to indicate due north numerically:
000 or 360? I'm not talking about mathematical convenience, but say for
entries in a log or on a plotting sheet. Anybody got a reference for
such a standard?
