Robert.

Do you want silver or aluminum with an aluminum oxide coating for protection. There are several companies which vapor deposit aluminum on telescope mirrors. I'm sure they would do sextant mirrors as well. IF interested, I will have to find the list. A search on the internet might yield result. A third choice is to look at ads in an astronomy magazine such as SKY & TELESCOPE.

Does anyone know of any firms that still re-silver sextant mirrors? I am looking for outfits or people on the continental US and Canada. The only firm that I knew of was Maryland Precision Nautical out of Baltimore but the main owner passed away last summer.

  Thanks,

  Robert
