No worries Mike and thanks for the compliment. Up until I joined this list, I figured that I was a pretty sharp astro-navigator, but some of these guys on the list put me to shame. Makes me feel like a complete neophyte. Not such a bad thing really. That way I get to ask stupid questions with impunity!

It is nice to see that people are still dedicated enough to pursue some of the more esoteric aspects of astro navigation. May it carry on forever!

  Hi Robert! Good to hear from you and thanks for reply!! Loved your Nav Found articles it must be pretty cold up there for Lunars! Regarding Prism Level I have tried those good folks maybe I will try them again in future. I was lucky to have one on my Davis Mk 15. It was neat too bad it was on a cheap sextant!
