I think it would be of interest to the list, or at least to me.
The previous discussions lacked substance. Maybe the article will provide
some facts regarding the fluxgate operating principle and the
implementation.
I still have trouble with the use of a gimble suspension as described in the
previous thread.

periodically.
The latest is an email on working of fluxgate compasses. Interesting how
they work.
We recently had a discussion on this subject and if there is still interest
