Hi Vic,

For a while something went wrong with my subscription to the group and I did
not receive any mail....simply a matter of subscribing again.

There are many PC programs available for sight reduction. Some of them are
old, DOS based, and I find a bit clumsy to use. Typical of these are the
GRUPP suite by George Rupp, and NAVCHK. I think I got these from the NIMA
site, . Other useful sites are http://www.navcen.uscg.gov/ , and
http://aa.usno.navy.mil/ . Also useful is Andre Ruiz site,
http://www.geocities.com/andresruizgonzalez/ . Another source is
http://www.boat-links.com/boatlink.html . And there are also some programs
on the NavList webpage, of course.

Amongst the more modern ones which I like is Navigator 32 available from
www.tecepe.com.br/nav .
