Robert E. White Instruments in Boston sells and services an array of
navigational and weather instruments, their website is worth a visit at
<http://www.robertwhite.com/> www.robertwhite.com. Their website states
that the Excelsior Log by Thomas Walker is "no longer offered", but they
still offer spare parts and will service your log. They do offer a
Knotmaster Log that they bill as "the standard taffrail log for smaller
sailing vessels" which has a mechanical log with line, sinkers, rotator,
etc. Visit their website and under Marine Instruments click on
