Victor,
I have been searching for an accurate azimuth measuring device with the
precision neede. There are some electronic compass modules available, one of
which I use in my wind measuring instrument but I do not believe it is
appropriate for sextant use.

| Could I add if there is some 'cheap' (digital) equipment to measure
| azimuth? You have nowadays gyro-theodolites and I assume that these will
| be come smaller and cheaper...
