A friend signed on the Rose as 1st mate I believe, to take her over there, but I never knew why she was going. How cool.
I just wanted to ask if you have a source that does have complete details on lunars. I just bought a 1916 Bowditch, which
unfortunately does not have it. In fact, I read that it did not on your list, but after I had already placed the order.
If you do have anything, it's presumably pretty old. If it's not still protected by copyright, and if you are willing, it would be
great if you could scan in a few pages.... I know I'm not the only one looking for books of that nature.
The original American Practical Navigator clearly had lunars, but copies are upwards of $1000. My father is at the New York Public
Library, and if he can get me a copy, I will scan in the relevant portions and put it up on my site.
