Subject: Watch accuracy

Hi,
just a newbie query on watch accuracy for celestial. My watch consistently
gains 1 second per 24 hrs. I would welcome opinions on whether to leave it
as is because the error is known or should I get a watchmaker to try and
adjust the error to zero? Is it personal preference?
Any help appreciated.
